Regulatory arbitrage is the strategic maneuvering by individuals, firms, or entities to exploit ambiguity in regulatory interpretations to gain advantages (legal, financial, strategic) without technically breaking the rules.
The folks inclined to engage in Regulatory Arbitrage find gaps in the regulatory fabric surrounding a specific industry and thread through them, selfishly dreaming up plans to benefit themselves while ruthlessly screwing anyone not connected to their Scheme.
Regulatory Arbitragers take advantage of Ambiguity and Gray Area to understate or minimize regulatory exposure, in the moment, for the sake of closing the deal.
Arbitrage happens when that same someone is poised to reap benefits at a later time based on the illogical and misleading statements they are making, in the moment. With a hidden agenda of creating rounds and rounds of endless litigation, Arbitragers say all sorts of stupid stuff now, knowing that it will result in litigation in the future.
They know what they are saying is false, but they do so anyway because they make money — either way. From their perspective: “Regulatory compliance is your problem. If you’re compliant or not compliant, who cares! We make money creating your problems and then offering solutions to fix them.”
In general, Arbitragers create chaos and then position themselves as the only ones capable of addressing it, thus ensuring long term job security and continued involvement for themselves, while simultaneously deploying various High Risk (HR) tactics to cheat other people out of jobs, benefits, wages, retirement, etc.
Their self-described Power apparently is based on Greed and Arrogance, supported by Delusion, with them believing that they own everything (including Human Flesh, apparently) and that everyone outside of their Scheme owns Nothing.
